I find it hard to believe that steve wrote that, even in confidence, it does not sit very well with being catholic, which i do know something about.
i have met birdy a number of times, like the guy, and find it hard to believe that the people i have ran into at those gatherings would make a remark about him stinking even in the circumstances and even if true.
The comment about Howell not knowing anything is silly. I have a good part of his book collection, he was well read, i have part of the things he used in testing, and i have the opus on case resizing that he wrote, a one of a kind technical book.
But good Lord it's hard to understand why continue to bring up this stuff which steelhead did for an awful long time against an old man, now deceased.
We all get our just rewards i like to think eventually.
