I didn't pay anywhere the new asking price for the King I. I worked a cash and trade with Bill Moore before he passed, so I'm in it right. The Westlake I bought sight unseen from a very honest and honorable gentleman. It was everything he represented it to be, and it too is worth more today than what I paid. In fact, that deal included a little boxlock with an English name but looked to me to be of Spanish origin. It went to Moore along with another gun or two for the King I.

I'll be going up for grouse again today. It's cool, crisp and clear, one of those magical Autumn days. Perhaps I'll share more pictures.
