Here's my Model 83 44 mag I picked up used awhile back. All I can say is that it's very accurate way out there, and the grip frame fits me much better then the Model 97 grip frame. The 44 Mag is a relative pussy cat in this gun and for me, easier to shoot than my N frames with the same loads.

If I was going to change anything, I would flute the cylinder and put micarta grips on it.
