The H110/310gr loads are a handful, as you surely know. For me, I can't imagine wanting to go any higher in power/recoil in a handgun.
Much more enjoyable shooting 240s over 8-10 gr Unique, and that's what I shoot mostly.
You know how it is when you shoot a 44Mag though, you have to have a few stomper loads on hand....grin.

I found a mostly full box of .45 Colt loads the other day from a number of years back. 340 cast WFN over max loads of H110. I recall they had my trigger finger swollen and bleeding from smacking the front, inside of the trigger guard when it came off the trigger during recoil. I put them right back up on the shelf. One of these days, when I get some heavier gloves and tape up a finger....
I will watch some younger fool shoot them.
