My favorite for an "all arounder"!

A stainless 5" Classic like yours would be hard to top for the most practical N frame 44 built for an outdoorsman.


My 6.5" 629 Classic is very cool, but yes the 5" is handier, and about as light as I want to shoot with full power loads.

I'm pretty content with my light loads, and full power loads. One of these days I need to find a good mid-range load that will toss 200-250's at 1100 to 1200 fps, and burn clean. A Smith 329 is on the "buy" list one of these days, and mid-range is all I care to try with one!
