As I said in the other post, we don't even have Jackrabbits around here. In farming country, they are a very damaging pest, ranking right up there with Prairie Dogs, which no longer inhabit these parts either. I believe the introduction of pesticides was more to blame for their demise than folks hunting them with Craftsman's or CeeTee's. Back when Jacks abounded though, my people ate them all the time. My guess is that they ain't any good in the high desert country due to their diet. They were eating corn and such around here. Back in the 20's and 30's, maybe even a little Hemp. smirk
