Weird how the International Red Cross missed all those gassings, gassing facilities, cremations, and mass burial sites, on their many inspections of all German operated camps. They had no idea. None of the prisoners bothered to mention it to them, I guess, when they were handing out their care packages. In fact, immediately after the war, they conducted a detailed study to determine total lives lost in camps under German authority. They came up with a figure on the order of a few hundred thousand, all ethnic and religious groups included, mostly from typhus, and mostly during the last months of the war. How'd they get it so wrong?? This agrees with the entry on the subject contained within the first post-WWII edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica, written by a Jewish scholar. He got it totally wrong, too. Weird. He must have been an antisemite.
