Maybe they cremated them all. Trouble with that theory is that it would've taken decades to incinerate all those bodies.
And mountains of coke. Oddly, there are no reconnaissance photos of any such thing near the camps where the mass cremations were supposed to have occurred, nor could the Germans have afforded to use anywhere near that much coke for that purpose, being in high demand for the war effort.
