Haven't read through all of these, but another sleeper is Banshee on Amazon. The first couple seasons are best, definitely not family friendly. Ex-con takes over as small-town sheriff. Bad good guys and good bad guys and some of the best fight scenes ever.

One I didn't see listed was the BBC's Sherlock Holmes series with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. That is family friendly. Khan and Bilbo solving crimes...

Others I'll second:
Strike Back (what 24 could have been if anyone ever cracked a joke, like real soldiers and cops)
The Last Kingdom (Bernard Cornwell's 12-book Saxon series, not a bad adaptation of the books but they're always better)
Ozark (just wow)
Peaky Blinders (always makes me want to drink)
Jack Ryan (the first season is much better than the second, especially for Clancy fans)
Yellowstone (far-fetched but great if you spend or spent any time on a ranch. I'm sure actual Montanans hate it)
Generation Kill is a bit dated but I just re-watched and love it even more now. If you've been to war, you know.
