Just started that the other day. It’s good!
"Ripper Street" is another in the same vein, police show set in 1890's London shortly after the Jack the Ripper murders.
It used to be free on Netflix but they removed it so now it's buy or rent only on Amazon and other streaming services, but if it ever comes back to some free service it's definitely worth a look.
The trailer is over the top but the show has a good story line overall with high production values. The main character in the middle has a "descent into darkness" arc that runs through all four seasons.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
