regarding hate. number of years ago my cousin in the former yugoslavia came over and mentioned she was dating a serbian. she is croat. she said we are not that way anymore, the old animosities are gone. after gettin over the shock my comment was they are not overwith, and that relationship would never hold up within the family. to put it bluntly it would be like a white guy marrying a black woman. Further down the road yugoslavia dissolved, and she married a croat. her uncle after living for at least 20years in bosnia, was given death threats and had to leave or be killed, wife and children too. ihis neighbors told him he hd 24hours to leave or all be killed. tribal behavior is strong for a reason, survival the film is not exclusively about the russians, that is a story in itself. the film is about poles, ukrainians, germans whoever has the power ripping you up. the enemies are the same no matter the ethnic background. and a graphic example of why you own firearms. they did a pretty good job just with axes.
