On Prime, Britbox, I enjoyed the hell out of the British short series, "Sherwood", crime drama based on true events that began with the coal miners strike in the 1980's. Besides the plot line itself, it paints a pretty accurate picture of what happens when generations of workers and their families, in any industry, find themselves redundant overnight with the stroke of a government pen.


Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.
