I don’t know that you can argue the testimony of the people in those interviews.
But that’s best left for another thread.
There's no doubt that WWII was horrendous for a lot of people. Lots of people were gathered into work camps (in the US, too), and lots of bad crap happened in them, particularly on the losing side near the end of the war. Many suffered and died. No one doubts this. If that's their testimony, I have no doubt they're telling the truth.
PS You know that Eisenhower murdered hundreds of thousands of surrendered German soldiers in camps, right? Regular front line soldiers, not concentration camp guards, even.
