To me, the reason that so many people have disengaged from Christianity is not because of the message; it’s mostly because of the messengers. It’s not the fault of the unaffiliated that they've found Christianity so unappealing and unengaging and so irrational and so unscientific, and so ungracious; it’s the fault of the church.
