57 is a good safe load in any of the '06s I have loaded for. Back in the day, the Speer #8 manual listed 59 grains as max, and I used to shoot 58.5 of IMR4350. 57 works well, though. The Hodgdon load site shows a starting load of 52 gr of IMR4350 and a maximum load of 56.6 grains for a velocity of 2770. Pretty tame, really. And then there is this one

That one may be a little rich for my blood. wink
