I think it's all about individual likes and dislikes.Personally I've been a 6.5 fan going way back/always liked the super performance of my 264 but I was smart enough to build a GOOD rifle around it for obvious reasons..glad to see interest in the 26 caliber finally returning.My future builds may include a 6.5 Creedmore/6.5-284 or possibly a 260AI,, not so much because they're any better than 7mm offerings but because I've been a 26 fan from the get go!!!
Just go with a 270 Creedmoor and everyone will want one.
