Well the 270-308 has allready been done was an article on it from some guy in Arizona who did it on a BLR it was in Handloader or rifle magazine years a go. He really talked it up 3000fps out of it with 130's and a 24" barrel. Seems the old BLR was his favorite rifle and back then they didn't make the long action variant. Regular 270 Win works just fine for me..mb
