Since I already have an 270win and 308win and 30-06 I don't need another smaller bore rifle. Instead what I would prefer is more opportunity to pursue different animals footwear. That's where it's really at.
Not having any affinity what-so-ever for a short action rifle - the std. .270Win is fine by me, and a faster twist and throated for high BC bullets all the better.
But as an omni-cartridge, especially for the short action fans, it could obsolete a whole handful of cartridges, long and short.
