Kids I understand because they’re kids and are being told it’s not as dangerous for them. Older people it’s inexplicable because the data is already pretty clear. It seems like many older people are dismissing it based solely on crankiness and distrust of the media. I get that, but is there no consideration that even a broken watch is right twice a day?

And in classic campfire fashion, the couple people who have spoken up with firsthand experience are being ignored or not believed in favor of people with zero experience but unshakable preconceived notions.
