I've been staying out of this thread because this is not an auspicious time fer me to participate in this endeavor.

Got a school function keeping me late.
But, depending on what time folks has to be on the road in the morning (you are about two highway hours away from Junction) I could possibly get free to show someone around in the morning hours.
Tour would include greasy, heavy but good Tex-Mex at a place run and patronized by actual Tex-Mexicans somewhere deep in the South Side (survival guaranteed). Might set ya back a whopping $8, and you'll feel like you will never need to eat again...
