Are you SimTesting or actually shooting real holes in animals? (Grins)...

I guess my only issues are that some think the meplat does all the work, when bigger holes were made with bigger bullets sans meplats with the dead carcasses as proof, but that technology apparently just disappeared along with history at the advent of SimTesting and Veral Smith.
Then, Elmers full diameter shoulder and the shoulder of the Brenneke slug ceased to exist, yet the actual concept of a bigger hole from a bigger caliber still must be in play....WTF?

I dont get it, from either perspective and I tend to side with those who have the audacity to declare winners by shooting live animals over chunks of crap.

If pressed Id pick a 40 or over if I wanted at least that sized hole or larger and would ditch the 9mm, 38/357, even with its larger meplat or even hollow points in those diameters (as Ive also experienced); not based on any horseshit test medium, but by actually making and using those bullets.
