Improvement in bullets is not confined to 44 msg, the improvement is across the board. 20 years ago i would recommend a hollow point, but today their great hollow points for hunting in most if not all suitable calibers.
We're not talking about hollowpoints. If there's a better .45 bullet, point it out, I'd love to test it. Of course, it wouldn't be valid because it wouldn't tell you what you wanted to hear to it'd be a total waste of time.
This from a guy that has put all of his eggs in sim testing. I seen beautiful meplat bullets that didn't fair so well in game, in fact my first experience with the 500 Linebahgh was such.
You attack me and others with much experience on large game without having a single large animal taken, it appears that you hasn't heard what you want to hear
