Due to the nature of the terrain where I hunt, I typically reach for something 6.5 or larger, but I'm thinking I might try these as the 6 x 45 in the AR has a 1 in 9 twist. The Remington and the Cooper, both in 6 x 47 have a 10 twist.
I'm gonna give the 80 gr. TTSX a try in both. As I'm a short range meat hunter, they just might work up close and personal with CNS shots. I do luv it when them hoglets drop and paddle.
