IIRC just about any non-indigenous species can be taken in Texas 24/7/365.

However, in this case probably not.


I've taken several Sika stags over the years and have a decent one on the wall in my grandkids nursury!



My son and his wife took three good bucks during rifle season plus my son took a meat buffalo and a blackbuck about 6 months ago.

So I don't need the meat.


These days I get a kick outta shooting birds and deer with a camera almost as much as shooting them with a rifle and it's a heck of a lot less work.

Now hoglets is a different story. I luv to shoot and trap those critters.



I'm about done putting mounts on the wall. BTDT.


Passed on this guy earlier this year.




Believe it or not I turned down three chances to go with my son to his lease where my oldest grandson took this buck.




Better than any deer I've taken in all my years of hunting, but I don't do high fence for deer. Everything on my wall is DIY on low/no fence property!
