Yeah... grouse hunting in the Cascades with Lucy when she was just a pup we ran into a big bear... being 9 months old and a brave soul she went towards it... the 45 ACP Kimber on my belt suddenly seemed really small. So then I got a 44 mag S&W for that stuff. Great gun, but I really had to aim it to hit anything; it didn't point naturally for me at all. The large-frame 10mm Glock fits my big mitts great and shoots very intuitively. My particular sample is very accurate as well.
I carried a Kahr P45 a lot in the woods and like everything about those in terms of bang/weight ratio but under stress I found I again shot it poorly. That long trigger pull.... I'd yank and miss low. Much prefer the Glock trigger and as clunky and inelegant as Glocks are... I love 'em for the great tools they are.
