So glad I dropped back. Some great pictures and stories. Where else can I get first hand accounts, stories and photos from charming hogs in TX, cattle operations and farming on the plains of MT, to all the great outdoors has to offer in the great NW and AK.
Not much to offer photo-wise, but this guy is undergoing a transformation into a 6mm Creed. The Model 7s are certainly compact, but unlike a short action 700, you are confined by the factory mag box. I didn't research, but I imagine there's not much in the way of bottom metal options. That said, I intended to stick with the BDL configuration an avoided some cost by foregoing Cerecote, fluting, and a custom trigger.
Specs are to be: Model 7 Stainless action Schneider #2 barrel, threaded at the end (for the future quiet game) Bansner High Tech Stock Bolt fluted and skeletonized by Karl Gre-tan firing pin Trigger tuned by 805 Leupold 2.5-8 w/B&C reticle
Badger Ordnance makes a dbm for model 7's that takes aics mags.
