Ya, I did have a ball. Met one of my buds and his son and nephew at the Petting Zoo. Final talley, 7 hoglets and 3 turkey.

Got into the stand about 6:15 Friday morning and watched the day come alive. First hog came in about 6:40. At that time he/she was just a shadow. Feeder went off at 7 AM and here they came!




Nailed the sow first. The shoats did not have enough sense to run. They just stayed there and kept eating. I had six bullets, and I always save one, so I shot four more. I'd hoped to get a couple doubles, but the pigs did not co-operate. BTW, The Steyr shoots a five shot group MOH (minute of hoglet) at
100 yds.

Set some snares and got a nice boar Saturday morning. I did not weigh him, but he was a thick one!






Sunday was one of those days that don't come often enough



absolute bluebird kind of day! Perfect for piddlin' and enjoying the cactus roses



Not too shabby!

Killed critters, ate great grub, smoked a couple good cigars and consumed adult beverages
