So, we have the new guy, a senator who delivers a good speech loaded with the old failed liberal solutions. He's teamed with another insider senator who has served for a long, long time, and no one has ever caught fire for him...

Versus...

an old guy who until now was loved by the Democrats and the media, and who has a record as a non-partisan Republican. He's teamed with an attractive outsider who will appeal to the Republican base.

If, as O'bama says, the problem with Washington is inside Washington, then why wouldn't the obvious choice be the maverick with the outsider?

I like McCain's chances with Palin.
