Most North Slope jobs are on a two-weeks on, two-weeks off schedule and that actually leaves a LOT more time for Todd to be a father. I did it for 23 years.
The Bristol Bay salmon run lasts about 3 weeks and the kids are probably out there with Todd having the absolute best times of their lives. It is more about the lifestyle than anything else.
