Yes to elk hunting. 1st rifle CO. As for bullets, who knows. Right now I have Cutting Edge 175 MTHs loaded up with AA2230 to try. If that doesn't shoot well I may try (yet again...) to get 180 ABs to fly well. Then 200 ABs, then 210 Partitions, and if all that doesn't make me happy, I know the 160 TTSX will shoot lights out and they work great on stuff big and small. I picked up some new AA2230 which is supposedly more temp insensitive. We'll see. I may try that with 185 TTSXs. Should get close to 2800.
