Doc 7: Here's a link for you to play with concerning recoil. Plug in the load info for your 7/08 and then play with 338Fed data.
A 7/08 paired with the 338Fed will have you set up for just about anything that walks N. America, as well as most of the earth. Toss in a 223 and your Golden.
