I was surprised too, which is the main reason I posted. I'm not sure what powder DoubleTap uses. Temp on the day the doe was shot was about 20 degrees. Maybe the velocity wasn't there? In any case, there is a lot of energy being spent on the rib cage. Your 185 load looks interesting and this rifle seems to have a fast barrel.

Has anybody tried the 180 Woodleigh? I saw a load earlier in the thread for the 200.
