I've got a 6.5 CM and a .17 HMR. Like them both. Killed a lot of foxes with the .17 HMR out to around 150 yds and didn't bother my liberal neighbors that much doing it, very good rimfire round and accurate if not too much wind. I find the 6.5 CM pretty much everything the more knowledgeable posters say about it, and not so much what the less knowledgeable posters say about it.
