I guess I just got tired of Nigerian Scams and a plethora of crap when I used my given name. I don't even like to use my credit cards on the internet regardless of the "proclaimed" secure connections. I have had some hacking, viruses and several attempts to get my identity. I just won't do it and any board that insists on personal info other than what I want to give will have me delete myself from it. It is my own personal security and that is all the reason I need.
