Penny, I know it is good to forgive and your post once again shows what a good heart you have, but I'm going to wait and see. I probably don't have to tell you this, but people who try so very hard to make people dislike them often have an extra helping of self-hatred and their approach toward people is geared to make those people reinforce that self image. Making nicey-nicey is one way to get folks to let down their guard, making it easier to strike a second time. "Ha, look how I suckered you in, you're so easy to manipulate." Maybe yes, maybe no, but I'm going to operate on the principle of fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...
I did learn quite a bit about Gene last night - once Executive Editor of "Primitive Archer" and now Editor Emeritus. If you followed the links in my last post his resume contains teaching positions at the college level and also apparently he has authored several works of fiction, but I couldn't find those titles.
It really does strike me as incongruent how an educated person can be such a [bleep] towards so many people.
Oh well, I come here to learn about shooting, not to fight and argue, so I guess henceforth our new poster Gene is a non-topic for me.
