Calling people you've never met wimps, [bleep], cowards, homosexuals and liars, particularly Barak (who you might ask about Kairos), intentionally baiting people so you can laugh at them... JMHO, but you might want to revist that "right with...God" part. At the very least you might want to ask God what he thinks about the way you treat people.
Gene has pushed my buttons, too... But I think we need to cut him some slack. (I'm serious... not kidding.) He's gotten a bunch of people angry at him and he wants to get back in the good graces of the group. So his way of trying to be "one of the boys" is to have some fun at some others' expense. He's having some fun at his own expense, too. He's kind of like the boy on the playground who wants the girl to like him but doesn't quite know how to go about getting her attention... so he goes up and pulls her pigtails.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm beginning to like Gene. Georgia good 'ol boys aren't really my thing, but I can accept him for who he is, as long as I know that he's not really trying to hurt anyone with the insults.

Maybe it was just the army picture that drew me in... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

BTW, thanks for your service to our country. I never supported the Viet Nam war, but I certainly supported the men and women who answered their country's call of duty. The Viet Nam vets got a raw deal, IMHO...
