Fast forward to 1999 Recruiting duty in Bangor maine. Sgt Slaughter of all people is doing the grand opening of some department store out at the mall. So all us recruiters go their in class A,s to go get pics with him.

We are all shaking his hand I say to him jokingly while shaking his hand "Sarge I thought you was dead man" He says to me laughing " your a dick dude"
Both of us laughing our ass,s off in front of about 125 people standing around.
