as to high cost of the new Leupolds, well you guys buying the high dollar European over engineered scopes caused that, I guess Leupold wanted a piece of the pie..A big game scope only needs to be dependable, and have a duplex cross hair to satisfy me..I have never seen all this anal stuff that some require and pay big bucks for to shoot a deer or whatever..All I need is to put the cross hair on the animal and squeeze the trigger in my controlled jerk..it seems to work just fine and all under $200 bucks. The rest is anal and not needed.

I guess it just depends on your perspective, the above is mine..


That's my perspective to Roy,except my favorite scope is a 2.5x8 B&L Balvar...
