While his method of delivery may be harsh, he makes a very valid point. How many animals are hunted indoors under flourescent lighting?
Without comparing and evaluating scopes, spotters, or B-nocs outside in both broad daylight and dusk/dawn situations an accurate evaluation of them is sketchy at best. When viewing optics indoors, an opinion can be swayed by as little as which one was cleaned best or which one was on the bottom rung of the test stock compared to the one on top.
