I'm the new man on board - so all I can say is- this is all funny !! I just got finished reading the "turd" description. I will just post this as my first post and stand by it :
1-Leupold is hands down the best scope on the market - yes its true you can pay more for a "name" as in those so called "top end scopes" but none come close to Leupold as far as reliability and function goes.Give me a 4.5x14x50 everytime and you wont hear me complain !!
2-What other company do you know will fix or repair a scope or send you a new one even if your not the original onwer or buyer- Feel free to put me on the Turd list ..LOLLL

I guess being the best is why so many new out of the box Leupys have pre-canted reticles, right?
2- They are not the only brand of scope with great Customer service, that repair a damaged or deffective scope
