This has been interesting. I started this thread after talking with a bunch of fellow hunters that are friends and hard-core users of their equipment like myself. Some of us make part of our living using this equipment. We don't do any "testing". But, every year we push it hard during a 2 month period, rifle hunting game from bears to antelope. We don't so much care about brand names or what the "best" euro scope is. The overwhelming choice of scopes among us is Leupold. We work hard for our money, and our stuff needs to perform in the toughest conditions, year after year with sometimes minimal care. On the back of a horse or behind the seat of a pickup, there are no "safe queen" rifles in our circle. Our rifles are in our hands and out in the woods, literally, sometimes for weeks at a time. IF a scope needs attention, it must be fixed, and fixed NOW. Leupold does all that. mtmuley
