In fact... I bet there's MORE than $100 of "support" for their warranty program, built into the cost of the their higher-priced scopes.
They just sent me a brand new replacement Alumina cover for one that I have that went bad. In addition, they are, right now, fixing a scope I'd sent in to the Custom Shop for a reticle swap a couple years ago.
The Alumina is almost $50 retail. The scope repair, I don't know how much time they'll end up spending on it, but I have to think SOME! And, then they pay the shipping back to me. That alone will be about $15-$20 just for these two items.
Think about it Joel. Every single day, they have legions of dudes and dudettes working on their product, in some cases from 30-40-50 years ago. And paying the shipping back on every single one of those items.
