I'm the new man on board - so all I can say is- this is all funny !! I just got finished reading the "turd" description. I will just post this as my first post and stand by it :
Leupold is hands down the best scope on the market - yes its true you can pay more for a "name" as in those so called "top end scopes" but none come close to Leupold as far as reliability and function goes.Give me a 4.5x14x50 everytime and you wont hear me complain !!
What other company do you know will fix or repair a scope or send you a new one even if your not the original onwer or buyer-

Leupolds are fair scopes, better than some in some ways, worse than others in some ways...those that like them won't admit their faults and those that hate them won't admit their good points. I wish it were hunting season as well.
