Here is question or two.

Let’s say in a few months there is some sort of incident and armed confrontation between Texas DPS and federal law enforcement on the border and a federal officer is killed. As a result, Joe Biden declares Texas to be engaged insurrection. He then nationalizes the national guard in a number of states and declares his intention to send them to Texas to invade, occupy, and quash the insurrection. In response, Florida and half a dozen other states declare not only will they not provide troops for this, but that they will join Texas in its resistance to what they see as unlawful and unconstitutional acts by Joe Biden. A civil war results.

Who is at fault, Texas or Joe Biden? Why did these states take these actions? Was it because they viewed the federal government’s actions regarding immigration to be unlawful and the culmination of these unlawful acts was the federal government making war on a state because it chose to resist the unconstitutional acts? Or was it because these states were racist, hated immigrants, and would go to war to keep them out of the country and maintain white supremacy?
