And of course, Lincoln was under a legal obligation to administer the estate in accordance with the decedent's Will and to maximize the estate's value for its heirs.

So, you praise Lincoln for being willing to engage in a war that killed 800,000 Americans in order to free slaves but absolve him of fault for being unwilling to even resign as administrator of his father-in-law’s estate to avoid having to sell other human beings? You seem quite morally flexible. Of course, so was he.

Man you sure can twist it up, the rebels struck the first blow, Lincolns hit them thar hillbillys back and shut them the [bleep] up..... cept they wont shut up, just like the dems and J-6.

Which rebels struck the first blow?

You are dense...
Confederate
At 4:30 a.m. on April 12, 1861, Confederate troops fired on Fort Sumter in South Carolina's Charleston Harbor. Less than 34 hours later, Union forces surrendered. Traditionally, this event has been used to mark the beginning of the Civil War.

Those Union forces were occupying Confederate territory, and had been told to leave, which they did not.

Confederate territory was a breakaway form the union and was not recognized except when they looked in the mirror, there is no such thing as confederate territory..
