That is an absolute incorrect analysis of that stat.

It means for every 10 people that died during those dates, 8 were not vaccinated and through simple math it means two were vaccinated.

If you want to dig slightly deeper for every 10 people in Louisiana 6 are not vaccinated.

Based on those dates your chances of death from Covid are slightly lower if you are vaccinated, but not by much.



In some parishes the unvaccinated rate was recently listed as being 72%. I believe East Feliciana was one of those.

As you say, statewide it’s 60%+.
