The Bible (multiple versions thereof) is an excellent mind control manuscript to manipulate a person’s conscious. There are many very good people that are Christians and there are some very bad ones. The Bible is a crutch in my opinion for those that need guidance on how to be a good person. Doesn’t seem to work universally.
