Not at all. AS looks to the demonstrable facts of the ancient writings - he's seeking truths. That's not bias. Acceptance of a particular faith without real evidence, or consideration of options, would demonstrate a bias. People sre largely introduced to a particular faith as a result of their upbringing - how many even bother considering other faiths? Couldn't be bothered or just plain brainwashed?

Those that do question can often end up atheist - serious consideration of the bible will do that.
