That seems to sum it up pretty well.
I avoid religious discussions. They are generally on par with - "My superhero is better than your superhero". And I really avoid preachers as they are generally on par with - "Believe what I tell you and ignore all the other preachers". I have a hard enough time listening to my girlfriend talking in circles - and that has worldly benefits.
