It's not an insult, it's a statement. You said you'd hate to try to outshoot Bob. I said that as meaning the fun is in trying to outshoot someone who can actually shoot. Personally, I don't get much enjoyment 'outshooting' folk that can't even hit a target. Of course, only you would take that as an insult.
